Show a video about caterpillars and butterflies. Explain their transformation.

Review Vocabulary from the story. Watch the video How a caterpillar becomes a butterfly

Show the worksheet Life Cycle of a butterfly

During-reading activity: As we read the story I Wish, we'll read together, pointing at words, predicting events, describing illustrations and clarifying new vocabulary. 


Post-reading activity: students design their butterfly book.
