Book: My Nasa Community: this is the beutiful story of Lina, a woman from the Nasa community who feels proud of her traditions, people, and mother earth.

Activities:
Pre-reading activity: ask students about the indigenous communties they know in Colombia.
Show the Colombian map with the location of the indigenous community. Focus on the Nasa community and explain the Nasa's main characteristics.
Present the video about the ceremony: "El despertar de las semillas" and listen to the explanation of this ceremony in Spanish ans Nasa Yuwe.

Read Lina's story: My Nasa Community and ask questions while reading about the story.

Post-reading activity:
Ask students about their impressions on the story.
Invite students to write a letter to Lina expressing thier opinions about the story and about  the problems the Nasa community is having now.
