Activities:


Pre-reading activity:

Ask students about the activities they like to do in their free time.
Show a video about different leisure activities. Explore vocabulary.
 
Ask students who are their best friends and what activities they do with them.
Ask students if it is easy for them to make friends and How they feel when they have to be alone.

During-reading activity:
Read the story Otto goes to the beach. Predict the story with the title. Read the story aloud with the students. Students read and point out to the sentences. Ask questions as the students read.

Post-reading activity:
Ask students about their impressions on the story.

Students color and write their own version of the story.
